Kairana a town of Muzaffar Nagar has the honor of being the hometown of the great scholar, literary figure and author of matchless dictionary Al-qamosulwaheed in Arabic and Urdu, Maulana Waheeduzzaman Sb. A freedom fighter immigrant of Makkah Hazrat Maulana  Rahmatullah Keiranvi  founder of Madrasah Solatya Makkah Mukrama too has the same birth place.
